ITCH

A darkly comic, visually striking solo play that exposes the raw power dynamics of a woman navigating misogyny, silencing, and survival in a male-dominated workplace.

Blending spoken text, movement, sound, and projection mapping, ITCH moves seamlessly between inner life and outer performance, transforming the stage into a living landscape of resistance, vulnerability, and transformation.

This is a story about resilience in the face of systemic power. It asks: what happens when the body refuses to stay silent?

For this UK production, projection mapping and animation become central to
the dramaturgy - a way of charting the protagonist’s emotional landscape and her transformation.

About the Writer

Elvin Aydoğdu is a Turkish playwright whose work blends dark humour, sharp social critique, and inventive theatrical form. In ITCH, she draws on lived experience and broader cultural contexts to deliver a biting, resonant story of power and resistance.
