GOODNIGHT, MA

Goodnight, Ma immerses us into the world of a Bengali mother and daughter living in inner London over the course of a single evening. Their apparently traditional and conventional relationship is challenged when they begin to disclose their innermost fears and insecurities to each other, taking them to a point of no return.

Goodnight, Ma is an intense and bleak play that exposes the deep love between the two women, one of whom might be inspired to finally take control of her life. Goodnight, Ma , is written by Mita Chowdhury and inspired by night, Mother by Marsha Norman.

The play will be performed in English and Bangla.
